In Memory of Tom Fox

We mourn the loss of Tom Fox, a truly generous philanthropist and friend of Grand Rapids Community Foundation. Alongside his wife Mickie, Tom had a long partnership with the Community Foundation. They started our first donor-advised fund and offered feedback and insights on everything from publications to the Foundation's strategic direction. Tom was one of our most enthusiastic supporters. He was always ready to raise his hand first to support Community Foundation causes and he has left an indelible mark not only on the Foundation but in our community. He inisted that the Foundation have its own home and made a significant gift to purchase our building in 2007. At that time, Tom and Mickie were awarded our Jack Chaille Community Philanthropy Award, just one way of celebrating their steadfast commitment to community. We are honored to accept memorial donations supporting the Tom and Mickie Fox Family Fund in Tom's memory.
