Kevin Yon Creative Fund
The family has created this fund to carry forward Kevin's dedication to the performing theater arts and carry on his generous spirit and big heart. Kevin moved his family from New England to Grand Rapids in 1978 and quickly became a part of the Grand Rapids theater community, involved in local theater, radio and eventually, national and international voice over work. He knew both the joy and the challenges of making a career in the creative arts. We think he would be proud to know that this fund would support the amazing talents in our community. Funds will be used to support nonprofits that help individuals as they pursue careers in the creative arts or those who need support for the development of creative projects, such as playwriting and development of comedy shows, etc. The Grand Rapids Community Foundation is honored to accept donations in Kevin's memory designated to the Kevin Yon Creative Fund.
