Patricia Muth Memorial Donations
Patricia Muth has been involved with the Grand Rapids Community Foundation since 2004 when she established the C. Robert and Patricia Muth donor advised fund, supporting education and schools. In addition to raising three sons, Pat studied modern dance at Western Michigan University, and later danced professionally with the Virginia Self Dancers. Pat was deeply involved in her community. She was a board member and President of the Western Michigan University Alumni Association; board member and Vice-Chairperson of the Western Michigan University Foundation, co-founder and President of the Friends of Kresge Art Gallery and President of the Inner Circle of Wharton Center. Pat occasionally taught school while raising their sons and tutored inner city Grand Rapids Students in reading. In 2007 we interviewed Pat and she stated, "I've always been interested in helping children. I found that the kids needed love as much as they needed tutoring. I believe we all have the opportunity to give back and help others and we should do it." We are honored to accept donations in Pat's memory designated to the C. Robert and Patricia Muth Fund.
