Nika Marie Social Impact Scholarship Fund
Forever we remember the legacy of Nika Marie, an accomplished champion of social impact in Grand Rapids area. Her life was tragically cut short at the tender age of 30 due to a four-year battle with cancer.
With her roots in the nonprofit world, Nika became an integral part of the CARNEVALE team in 2018. In a matter of months, she evolved the company's long-standing pro bono initiative into a formal division known as CARNEVALE co/op. The new brand not only reflected the cooperation between our organization and our community, but also charted a clear path for bridging the gap between non-profit organizations and next-generation software development and user experience design.
Through the Nika Marie Social Impact Scholarship, we aspire to immortalize her vision and mission by impacting equity in education to students in our community who are most in need. Nika was passionate, intelligent, and relentless in her pursuit of change. While her time with us was too short, with your support, her impact will last forever.
